This Lentil and Cheakpeas soup is highly nutritious and delicious, also it’s one of the easiest soups to make.
- 1 cup red lentils
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas or 1 can
- 4 cups water
- 1 Maggi cube (optional)
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- yogurt for serving
- In a saucepan place all ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, lower the heat and cook for 30 min.
Serve with a dollop of yogurt.
