A gorgeous and colorful Persian soup that contains: beans, cheakpeas, lentils and spinach. So healthy and so filling.
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 50 ml oil
- 1/2 cup black eyed beans
- 1/2 cup green lentils
- 1 can cheakpeas
- 1 cube maggi
- 4 cups water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- Heat oil in a pan. Fry onions and garlic, stir in turmeric and cumin.
- Add water, beans, lentils, Maggi, cumin. Allow to boil and simmer slowly for around 30 min.
- Add spinach, cheakpeas, season with salt and pepper and cook for 5-10 min more.
- Blend in a blender until smooth.
Garnish with yougurt and serve.
